The Artifact

A student working on his master’s degree in archaeology is on a field assignment at Göbekli Tepe, the oldest known archeological site on Earth. After working for several days he discovers a small black metallic box that appears to be a perfect cube. It soon becomes obvious the artifact is of extraterrestrial origin, and during its examination an opportunity for an astonishing adventure is created.
