Sam Tate 

My name is Sam Tate. I started writing fiction in college with the original goal of encouraging young adult family members to read for enjoyment. I realized rather quickly that the stuff I wanted to read and get others in my family to read wasn’t in bookstores, so I decided to create my own. Writing became a passion, and weaving stories together that include elements of mythology, history, science, comedy, and creating new worlds are all part of what compels me to write. More than anything, I’ve been driven by the spirit of exploration, and want to create fantasy worlds that are new and interesting. Adventuring into these new places has become my latest endeavor, along with drawing the maps to show other people the way.
