Lisa G. Moore

Lisa Griffin Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Kentucky University. After teaching, she secured her dream position, which she had been pursuing for about ten years, as well as starting her writing career, by becoming the secretary of her church. She enjoys serving in this role because she loves helping others. It is a part-time position, allowing her to explore her career as an author of children’s books.

Lisa lives with her husband, Jeff, in a small rural community in northern Kentucky. They are empty-nesters and live on a farm with Willie the kitten and his little sister, Jessie. Two Pyrador doggies have joined the family- Milo and Mandy. They will probably be the subject of stories to come. Lisa feels it is important to include life lessons in all her stories, and using her pets allows a fun and inspiring way to do so.
