My name is Maria C. Garcia,

I worked for the DOJ for 31years, before that I worked for the agency fomally known as U.S. Customs for 2 years. Then I moved over to the Department of Justice, and worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for 31 years. Overall I worked for 33 years in the US government. I retired at the end of 2021. The year before I retired, in March of 2020 my husband Joe and I were hospitalized with COVID, my mother who was 82 at the time, was also hospitalized about 2 weeks later. My husband and I were intubated for a little over 3 weeks the fact that we are  alive today is a miracle. This prompted me to write a book about the many miracles that I realized had taken place in my life,  COVID being one of them. My book talks about death threats that I received while working for the government, from false charges that were levied against my husband and other serious things that you can read all about It in my book.
