Linda Hansen 

Unlike many authors, Linda Hansen never thought of writing a book until a friend pushed her to write her first children’s picture book. One year later, she wrote a second one. Linda loves combining art and nature. She is currently working in watercolor and is both the author and illustrator of these creative children’s books.

In 1999, a casual discussion about a jazz musician resulted in Linda recounting the time she met the celebrity. Similar conversations continued over the years, and an acquaintance finally said, “You should write a book.” Multiple people offered the same suggestion, and Rubbing Shoulders came to be.

Linda grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and currently lives in Florida with her husband and their dog. After retiring from her career as a non-profit executive director, she finally found the time to follow her creative passions. In addition to writing, she speaks on You Are Never Too Young, or Too Old. At 81, Linda is proof that there is always time to start a new journey.
